Hello I'm Tyler, after graduating high school I took a two year break before I went back to school. Working full-time during those two years I always knew I wanted to become my own boss. Even though I had that in mind I still went to Suffolk Community College for two semesters. In my experience of the college classes I was absolutely horrible, except the classes I actually went there to take. I didn't learn much from classes like pre-calculous, history and English. What I did learn is different backgrounds of people different connections down the road I could use. Everyone is going to college for a degree, whether that be accounting, architect, designer and financing etc. These people I made connections with early on can be used in my advantage. I dropped out of college and I went on the venture of becoming my own boss. I bought out the small business I was working at for the past three years. This will be my first year with a business and in order for it to run smoothly I need and accountant to make sure I'm making a profit. I need a designer to re-do the interior of the shop to make it more appealing to a new customers eye. If I didn't make the connections and gain the knowledge I did from going to college I wouldn't be in a position of where I am right now. What I'm getting at is not knowing what you're going to be in the future is fine it happens to everyone. But if your goal is to be wealthy you must be willing to learn and make connections first. Even though if that means not getting a degree. Easiest way of gaining connections obviously college. If you're lost on what comes in the future college can open so many more doors for you rather than just a degree.
