Hello my name is Cole, and like many of the other posts I was worried about what I was going to do after college. I graduated in from high school in 2017, and I originally went to SUNY Geneseo. When I was there I had a lot of fun, but I did not take school as serious as I should’ve. I thought I would be able to do well by putting a little more effort in then I did back in high school. I could not have been more wrong because my GPA was not close where I wanted it to be by the end of the year. When I came home that summer I decided to transfer to Suffolk Community College so I could figure out how to approach college. Here I learned that I had to put a lot of effort in to get the grades I was looking for. I also learned a more efficient way to study which has been very beneficial these past three years. After two years of being at Suffolk, I transferred out, and now I am currently attending Stony Brook University. I am currently a junior studying business administration with a concentration in marketing. These past few semesters have given me a general idea about what side of marketing I want to be in. I figured out that I am interested in the behavior aspect of marketing, specifically what consumers do and why they purchase what they do. I hope to figure out what I will do in the near future, since I am graduating next fall. I would advise anyone who is starting college, to really put a lot of effort into their work and try not to get behind assignments.
